1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website https://eci-ireland.ie and the purchase of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses and related services offered by European College of Innovation (ECI) Ireland Limited (“ECI Ireland”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing our website or purchasing any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

3. Services

ECI Ireland provides Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes, courses, workshops, and related educational services to individual professionals and organisations. Services may be delivered via:

  • On-demand digital learning (self-paced online modules)
  • Live virtual training (instructor-led webinars and workshops)
  • In-person programmes and seminars
  • Corporate team training (customised programmes for organisations)
  • Blended learning
  • Microlearning and CPD pathway modules

4. Purchasing and Payment

4.1 Orders

When you purchase a course or service from our website, you are making an offer to purchase. Your order is confirmed when you receive a written confirmation from us by email.

4.2 Pricing and VAT

All prices displayed on our website are in Euro (€). Prices are inclusive of Irish VAT where applicable. ECI Ireland reserves the right to change prices at any time; however, changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

4.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Airwallex. By completing a purchase, you authorise Airwallex to charge your selected payment method for the total amount of your order. ECI Ireland does not store your full payment card details. All payment data is handled by Airwallex in accordance with PCI DSS standards.

4.4 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, as well as other payment methods made available by Airwallex at the time of purchase.

4.5 Failed Payments

If a payment fails or is declined, your order will not be processed. Please contact your card issuer or try an alternative payment method.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1 Individual Purchasers (Consumer Rights)

If you are a consumer purchasing as an individual, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of purchase under the European Union Consumer Rights Directive, unless the digital content has already been accessed or downloaded, or the course has commenced, in which case the right to cancel may be waived.

To exercise your right to cancel, please contact us at the email address above within the 14-day period. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of your cancellation being accepted.

5.2 Corporate and Organisational Purchasers

For purchases made by organisations or businesses, cancellation and refund terms will be as set out in any applicable service agreement or, in the absence of such an agreement, at the discretion of ECI Ireland.

5.3 Event Cancellation by ECI Ireland

If ECI Ireland cancels a live event or scheduled programme, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative date or equivalent programme.

6. Access to Digital Content

Upon successful payment, access to digital learning content will be granted as outlined in your order confirmation. Access is granted to the individual named purchaser and may not be shared or transferred unless expressly agreed in writing by ECI Ireland.

ECI Ireland reserves the right to withdraw or modify course content at any time. Where material changes are made to content already purchased, we will endeavour to notify affected learners in advance.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, course resources, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on our website and within our programmes are the property of ECI Ireland or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any of our content without prior written permission.

8. User Obligations

By using our website and services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when registering or making a purchase
  • Not misuse or share access credentials
  • Use course content for personal or organisational professional development only
  • Not engage in any conduct that disrupts or damages the website or our services
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish and EU law, ECI Ireland shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our services
  • Loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption
  • Technical failures or interruptions to digital services beyond our reasonable control

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in question.

11. Governing Law
